Power and Responsibility - The Impactful Path of Machine Learning

South Australian Universities Alumni Europe (SAUAE) warmly invites alumni in the UK to join an evening of conversation with Dr Kathy Nicholson: Power and Responsibility - The Impactful Path of Machine Learning.

From Google’s Gemini 2.5 to Microsoft’s Co-Pilot, machine learning and AI are rapidly becoming part of everyday life. People refer to ChatGPT as a friend, and search engines are increasingly powered by these tools. These technologies are no longer on the horizon- they’re here, reshaping how we live and work.

As they become more embedded in society, it’s worth considering how we can navigate them thoughtfully, ethically, and strategically.

By understanding both the promise and complexity of machine learning, we can help guide its development in ways that are safe, inclusive, and genuinely beneficial.

Important Note: Australia Centre is part of the Australian High Commission and therefore all attendees must register before the event and must bring photo ID to be allowed entrance to the building.
