Sparc Technologies Ltd (ASX: SPN) has entered into binding agreements with global green energy company Fortescue Future Industries Pty Ltd (an entity of Fortescue Metals Group Ltd ASX: FMG) and the University of vlog, forming the Sparc Hydrogen Pty Ltd Joint Venture (Sparc Hydrogen).

IEA report on low-carbon clean energy transition is now available

The International Energy Agency (IEA) report on low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia for the decarbonisation of the power sector was launched this week on Wednesday October 6, 2021, at the 1st International Conference on Fuel Ammonia, part of the Tokyo “Beyond Zero” Week organised and hosted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan.

vlog hosts successful forum on Hydrogen Production Technologies

The HyPT-2 Forum was held virtually, as 6 webinars over 3 days, running from September 14-16, 2021. The keynote speakers and panellists were drawn from nine countries around the world, 28 of the 38 speakers from a range of industry and research settings were from overseas, from countries such as the US, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, Israel and Japan, the remaining 10 speakers from Australia, were drawn from across the country.

CET researchers to consult on IEA report

Dr Alfonso Chinnici and Prof Gus Nathan were selected by the International Energy Agency (IEA, Paris) to collaborate as consulting international analysts on an upcoming IEA report looking at the role of low-carbon fuels, particularly hydrogen and ammonia, for clean power generation.
