ANFF-Optofab ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø isÌýthe Australian National Fabrication Facility OptoFab hub located at the University of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø.
Part of the Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing, Optofab ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø has a rare combination of glass science and fibre fabrication research facilities and expertise, which has enabled the realisation of fibres with unique and novel properties.
Optofab ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø also provides complex and precise machining services. Its additive and subtractive manufacturing capabilities allow the creation of glass, polymer and high-strength metal parts with complex shapes and geometries tailored to specific performance requirements.
Capabilities include advanced manufacturing, glass and fibre fabrication, surface functionalisation along with analytical services for analysis and quality control of various properties in materials.
