The final Friends of the Library event for 2019, on Wednesday 20 November,Ìýwill be a conversation with Lainie Anderson, author of - a meticulouslyÌýresearched novelisation of the first flight from England to AustraliaÌýby the Smith brothers, which celebratedÌýits centenary this year.

Event 25 July: The Kaurna children's letters of 1840-1843
The Kaurna Children’s Letters 1840-1843 to the Dresden Mission Society are an important historical collection held at the University of ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø library. Come along to this lunchtime discovery event to hear Associate Professor Rob Amery speak on the significance of these letters and their journey to the library.
