We know humour can help students engage and learn,Ìýbut there's not much practical advice out there for educators on how to actually do it professionally. Additionally, how do we make those ‘boring but necessary’ concepts engaging and stick in the mind?
This interactive session dives into practical activities for creating short comedy videos.ÌýThis includes a seven-step method with a critical reflection process. Attendees will enjoy:
- Watching & deconstructing the short videos
- Learn easy comedy structures & line them up with your content
- Using AI to generate initial scripts (if you can’t think of your own)
- Storyboarding
- Videoing & editing tips
This will be valuable for educators looking to connect with their students in a more engaging way, especially with those difficult concepts. Come join the fun as we explore what is possible for us!
